The journey begins as your little ones venture out of their homes to explore the world beyond. A little unsure, filled with wonder about this new world filled with unknown individuals. Our job at TLC is to hold their hand and gain their trust, help them get over their trepidation and develop confidence. Our programmes /activities are designed to inculcate in them values of sharing, caring and respect for others, even as we help them deal with the newness around them. Materials used are specially designed to fit into their tiny hands as the interesting colours and shapes entice them to explore and discover.

Now that this new world has become familiar, it is time to have some fun and adventure. The individuality in each child starts to rear its head, as they become more adventurous and ready to try out new things. We help them along with events and activities that will pique their interest further even as they have fun balancing, crawling, skipping, climbing and jumping, all under the watchful eyes of our encouraging teachers. They gain confidence to try out simple Montessori activities like building the Pink Tower, pouring water from a jug, singing the alphabet song and walking on a line. Children find these activities interesting because they are just different enough to represent a meaningful challenge. Communication skills are developed through games at circle time, stories and interesting conversations

Adventure leads to discovery. We ride along with our little student on their journey of self-discovery. Our curriculum for the Discoverers is designed for holistic development, both physical and mental. The children enjoy learning new concepts through the exploration of the Units of Inquiry which cover many facets of the world like seasons, the animal kingdom and the plant kingdom. They enjoy painting, singing and listening to stories and begin to learn the simple concepts of Mathematics and Language. Our aim is not merely to make the child understand, and still less to force him to memorize but to touch his imagination so as to enthuse him to his inner most core.

Self-discovery instils confidence. And with confidence comes the urge to enquire. It no longer is unquestioned acceptance, as the children develop the faculty of reasoning and a better understanding of the world, they are in. Our unique teaching methods, using Montessori materials, stimulate the five senses in the children and help in developing their intellect. The teachers encourage their little apprentices to make independent choices and decisions. The children graduate from visually identifying alphabets and letters to emulating them on paper. With their mentors the Enquirers now explore a growing world of Reading, Writing, Geography, Science and Mathematics.

At TLC we believe passion leads to perfection, and it is our job to help our students find that passion and step forward in life with greater confidence. The environment remains the same, our methods remain the same, but the focus becomes more targeted as we now become more conscious to specific needs of each child. Our Rangers now learn to group alphabets and construct words opening a new world with unlimited possibility. Children are taught basic rules of Grammar, 2nd Language of their choice, Math, Science, Geography to gain hands on learning material.

Our confident young boys and girls are now ready to move on to the next stage in their lives where school means classrooms, specific subjects, teachers and new classmates. Our task is to prepare them for their transition into a more structured education system. Having worked so far with concrete materials that formed the base for solid, easy to retain learning, the children are now ready to move on to the abstract. Our teachers introduce global issues like environment and safety, in a format that is easily comprehensible to the children. They are encouraged to do projects, individually and in groups, and to ask questions that help them understand and deal with these new challenges of the world. TLC graduates are well prepared for admission interviews and ready to take on the next step in their education journey.

Our Extended Day Care programme has been kept flexible to suit every need. From 2 hours to the whole day, the children can stay with us for as long as per their requirement. Children work alone or in group to enhance their proficiency in Language and other subjects through our structured Daycare Curriculum. In the Extended Day Care, children have greater opportunity to practice tasks that require stamina, concentration, as well as cognitive and physical skills. Older children, who opt for our After School Care, are helped with their homework and any other school work that needs attention. We focus on the social aspect of growth in our children and help them in developing grace and courtesy through sessions in table manner and social etiquette. But above all our focus is on help them develop to good human beings, who would care for each other and for their environment.

Babies are born curious, creative and intelligent. Alongside basic baby care we enrich our child’s world to help them achieve full potential. From birth, babies are busy, active learners, immediately investigating the sights, sounds, and feel of the world. Babies and toddlers are sensory-motor beings. They explore the world with their senses when developing motor skills. Long before they understand a concept with their minds, their bodies are learning to navigate the up and down, over and under of the physical world: while their percepting and sorting out sizes, colours, and shapes.
